Trip to Wamena part II
In November 2007 before we departed to The Netherlands, we paid another visit to Wamena. This time we went together with Mrs.Kaisiepo (the owner of the land) and also with Paula, Miriam's youngest sister. We visited again the land which will be the location of a hospital and an orphanage. We met with a family who is faithfuly taking care of the land, went to an agrarian office to measure the land, and also made a documentation about the land. This visit gave us more confidence and stronger faith that God is about to do what He had promised. If God is on us, who is againts us? Also in this trip we got so many revelations from God. Suddenly came up many people who also wanted to give their contribution to this ministry. There was a possibility that we might purchase a bigger land just next to it, the head of local district declared his side upon us and promised to help in anyway he could, and also a bussines man promised to give stones, sand, and other material for the building. Well, that was amazing!! We surely believe that God is able to open any resources to give us anything we need, and all is according to His own-unique way. God is awesome, cool man!!!
Right now this land is just an empty-non productive land, but there is a big chance in 5-10 years ahead on this same land, will exist a terrific well-built area with it's well-known reputation, that many people will come to seek for medication, get healed, and witness the glory of The Lord Jesus revealed in this place. There also be present a house of love for many children, where they feel loved and have a hope for their future. Children who look their future confidently will be a more promising generation to Papua.
In this 2-days visit we also took an opportunity to take a look at an orphanage where miriam was used to work in. The children were very happy and it was feeling like yesterday since we left Wamena. Johanna now is in her second year of kindergarten. She is doing very well at school and having many new friends. Here are some pictures of the children:
